his is a fantastic thermostat that, in the face of a temperature range, allows the switching on and off of an electrical appliance. There are 12 and 24 volt DC and 220 volt AC versions. The model I got is the 220 volt alternating one and I use it to feel the temperature of the radiator and start a fan placed under it to improve the heating in the rooms of the house. It has summer/winter operation and is indispensable for automating the lighting of something based on temperature at low cost. AWESOME, 5 stars well deserved
