The L293D Motor Control Shield for Arduino is an electronic circuit board that can be connected to an Arduino microcontroller to control the speed and direction of up to two DC motors or one stepper motor. It is based on the L293D integrated circuit, which is a popular dual H-bridge motor driver that can supply up to 600mA per channel and can handle voltages up to 36V.
